How to choose LED source?

LED is the future illumination, but how to choose the correct LED source? Here we list some items for your reference:

1) LED brightness: different brightness, the price is different. LED for illumination shall comply with Laser Class I standards.
2) Antistatic ability: The higher antistatic ability the long life of the LED, and therefore higher prices. Usually LED static more is than 700V can be used for LED lighting.
3) Consistency wavelength: Same wavelength will make the same color, if require same color, then the price is high. The manufacturers without LED spectral separation device are difficult to produce pure color LED.
4) Leakage current: LED is one-way conductive light, if there is reverse current is called leakage, the more leakage current the shorter life of LED, and price relative lower.
5) View angle: Different usage need different angle. Some special angles are higher prices, such as the diffusion angle.
6) Life span: Life determined by the light fades. Less light decay lead longer life, and finally higher price.
7) LED chip: The quality of LED mainly depend on the LED chip, different chips the prices is very different. Usually the Japanese and United States made chip are more expensive than Taiwan and Chinese chip.
8) Chip size: The size is measured by side length, bigger size are better quality than the smaller one. And the price is proportional to the chip size.
9) Colloid: Ordinary LED colloidal generally is epoxy resin, and the glue anti UV LED and fire is more expensive, and this usually used for outdoor LED lighting.

Each product will have a different design, and for different purposes. LED lighting design reliability include: electrical safety, fire safety, environmental safety, mechanical safety, health, safe to use and other factors. From electrical safety point of view, should be consistent with relevant international and national standards.
